CAPA Conference

Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre

Supporting a Multi-Day International Conference with End-to-End AV

The Challenge

CPA Australia engaged Microhire to manage all technical production for the CAPA Conference, held over four days at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event required a high-end experience across plenary, breakout and social sessions, while supporting international speakers, live translation and tight budget parameters.

The Solution

Microhire delivered full-scale production support across all four days, including:

Stage and Content Design
- Designed a custom plenary stage set in collaboration with CPA Australia
- Created screen content for presentations, branding, and session transitions
- Developed a secondary stage set design for hosted lunches
Speaker and Session Management
- Supported nearly 100 speakers with tailored presentation and AV support
- Operated a fully networked speaker preparation room for seamless coordination
- Managed five concurrent rooms with individual AV requirements
International Delegate Services
- Delivered live translation services in four languages for over 200 international attendees
- Ensured AV integration across all translated content and delegate zones
