The Challenge

The Avalon Australian International Airshow is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest aerospace and defence event, spanning six days and attracting thousands of visitors, exhibitors, and global defence leaders. As a trusted production partner, Microhire was tasked with delivering reliable, high-impact AV and technical support across a vast multi-zone environment, while also debuting new technologies to showcase innovation in action.

Amid a record-breaking showcase featuring 902 exhibitors and welcoming more than 200,000 visitors, Microhire was engaged to support over 100 AV activations, each requiring precise coordination, rapid delivery, and consistent technical excellence.

The Solution

Microhire managed and delivered over 100 AV activations across the six-day event, including:

Conference and Meeting Spaces

Complete technical fit-outs of multiple conference rooms, exhibitor briefing units (EBUs), studios, and chalets.

Launched Microhire’s new transparent OLED touchscreen kiosks to industry audiences.
