Creating a Live Studio Experience for the Cadbury ANZ Conference

The Challenge
Microhire was engaged to deliver full technical production for the Cadbury ANZ Conference, based on a talk-show style concept provided by Bunch. The brief called for a dynamic, television-style stage with multiple presentation zones and clear sightlines for over 500 attendees in a function centre setting.

The Solution

Microhire provided a complete AV and staging solution, including:

  • Staging and Set Design
    • Installed a custom ā€˜live studio’ stage set using LED panels as a digital backdrop
    • Designed a multi-zone presentation layout with a talk-show format
    • Integrated tiered seating and full room draping to enhance audience visibility and atmosphere
  • Audio and Visual Integration
    • Supplied PA systems, stage monitors, LED panels and 16:9 projection surfaces
    • Provided presenter and audience vision foldback with two camera operators for live content
    • Managed all AV setup, pack-down and show operation
  • Technical Coordination
    • Delivered all labour and operator support for rehearsals and two full show days
    • Worked alongside Bunch to ensure seamless integration with their screen content and show calling

The Results

  • Delivered one of the first LED-based corporate stage sets in Australia
  • Created a unique ā€˜live studio’ experience that met the brief and engaged all 520 delegates
