Bringing Game Day to Life with Stadium-Scale AV and Production

The Challenge

Microhire was engaged for a second consecutive year to deliver full technical and creative production for North Melbourne Football Club’s Grand Final Breakfast, held on the stadium surface at Etihad Stadium.

As a live broadcast event on Fox Footy with an in-person audience of 3,500, the brief required a high-impact, broadcast-ready setup that balanced event atmosphere with production precision.

The Solution

Microhire delivered complete production services, including:

Staging and Visuals
- Designed the main stage and overall room concept
- Installed a 20×5 metre wide screen and two additional displays using four 16:9 projection surfaces
- Created an inflatable entrance feature for visual impact and guest arrival
Audio and Lighting
- Delivered full audio coverage, including for an acoustic performance
- Designed and installed lighting to suit both live and televised elements
- Managed all rigging for lighting, audio, video and draping
Production and Styling
- Provided complete technical and creative production management
- Assisted with screen content integration
- Draped the stadium function area to create a polished and controlled environment
